About
This database represents the first searchable collection of the Attorney General of California's comment letters provided to jurisdictions in response to their proposed General Plan Updates. These letters provide a wealth of direct commentary on particular issues raised by policy options being considered, the rationale and regulatory basis for suggesting changes to proposed policies, and specific actions the Attorney General's office feels would bring proposed policies into compliance with CEQA and other GHG regulations.By looking at how other jurisdictions are developing policies and how these policies are viewed by the Attorney General's office, you can use this database to proactively design policies that are more likely to be in compliance with CEQA and better address community GHG emissions goals.
Each entry in this database is composed of "issues," "rationales," and "proposed actions". Further each entry includes a short description of the topic and keywords to facilitate easy identification of information relevant to individual local government needs.
By selecting the tabs above you can either browse the whole collection or search for specific entries that are relevant to your interests.
