Prospect Silicon Valley is looking for a Climate Corps fellow to support their innovation hub with event coordination and project support. This is a full-time role that is primarily focused on planning the annual Innovation & Impact Symposium. Additional tasks will include program and administrative support.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Lead organizer for the 2020 Innovation and Impact Symposium
• Conducting research under the direction of Program Managers or the Executive Director
• Supporting administrative and event planning tasks
• Other responsibilities as needed
The Fellow will join an experienced team of 12 professionals with expertise in GHG mitigation, advanced transportation, building projects, energy efficiency, utilities and grid, public relations, and innovation strategy. The Fellow will be well supported in a fun organization that has previously hired four Climate Corps fellows subsequently hired into the organization. A workplan will be provided and participation includes numerous opportunities to engage in many events and exposure to projects and leaders throughout the sector. Innovation and Impact Symposium
Prospect Silicon Valley’s Innovation and Impact Symposium focuses on emerging technologies in advanced mobility, energy and the built environment. The event will highlight the accomplishments and progress in cleantech innovation. This symposium started in 2011 as Silicon Valley’s premiere forum for connected transportation, mobility and electrification and has since expanded in scope to include exciting new technologies that lay the foundation for smarter and more sustainable communities.
